Aron decided to make a change to my side skirt.

Dual Core Radiator + Thermostat Delete

After experience an overheat issue on Friday night, Aron found a blown fuse. Got it replaced and it still will overheat after a short drive. So it is time to do something.

Roy sold an OEM dual layer radiator to Aron before he sold his car. So.....

Prepare to remove....

Dual layer and Single layer comparison..

 Installed.

Mechanic Chin recommended to remove the thermostat as well. So it cut off unnecessary parts and use the mounting the hold the gasket to prevent water leakage. 

Now I need a lot of time to make it to operating temperature....

Monitoring in progress....so far so good...

Spoon Bar

While shopping with Celica at Velocity Stage, Sunway. Aron accidentally kick a steel bar on the floor before leaving, the shape looks so familiar to him. He pick it up and hoping it is the one he thinking. And....

Clutch Pump Reservoir Relocation + Cusco Tower Bar

Found a Cusco Tower Bar hiding nicely in strut bar section at MML.

Prepare for installation, and found that the bracket that hold throttle cable and clutch pump reservoir blocking the bar.

Consulted MJ and found that need to relocate the clutch pump reservoir in order to get the bar installed.

Let the relocation job begins. Item needed:

L shape or U shape bracket x 1

10mm wrench

Cable tie

Hand drill with 10mm drill bit (Optional, in case the hole on bracket doesn't fit)

Open up the bracket with 10mm wrench.

Unbolt the reservoir holder that hold by one 10mm nut. 

Mount it on firewall, Aron just temporary cable tie it because the original bracket is too big. Will reuse the bracket soon, after some DIY work.

 Unbolt the Ultra Racing bar..

 Install the Cusco Tower Bar

Note: By installing Cusco Tower Bar, doesn't mean that Ultra Racing bar doesn't do a great job, but Aron just want it make it a set, since there is a Cusco Rear Strut Bar mounted inside rear trunk.

Continental ContiMaxContact MC5

Time to change rear rubber. Yokohama A Drive R1 really did a good job, but it wear out fast.
After some survey on internet, decided to try Continental ContiMaxContact MC5 out.

Swapping the C Drive 2 to rear.

MC5 ready to install.

5Zigen Exhaust Piping

Thanks to Lewis, because he inform Aron that there is a set of 5Zigen exhaust piping and muffler selling on Mudah.

Went to check out on the next day, and pick it up.

Fog Lamp

Swapping the normal spot light to fog lamp.

Unfortunately, Aron being told that the gearbox mounting and the bracket from the halfcut doesnt match...

suspected cut and welded by previous owner to fit in automatic gearbox mounting on manual gearbox...

After 2 days of searching in chopshop, but end up no luck.

Decided to buy new.....the manual gearbox mounting...and the bracket for Prelude M2A4...

Fitted in.

A whole new experience with...

Big Day of Lewis
