Went to 7 chopshop today for the fuel indicator and water temp panel, but all ran out of stock......

aihh...such a hot day....

Touch up the Fiber

Went back to Sunway for the fiber touch up because the Spray worker says that the fiber do not have a good finish on the air vent area, after spray, it will crack if the bumper shake a bit.....here we are....


looks a bit nicer after the touch up....心理作用?

Went to spray shop near the fiber shop, have a short discussion about the price of spraying.
Most probably will start the painting work on Monday......

Fuel Indicator and Water Temp Gauge is Dead

This morning while Aron start me up, he noticed that there is a small area of the water temp gauge is darken, after few minutes, 3 red horizontal line shows up!

It turn off after 10 mins, no matter how many times he restart me, it just wont light up....

CNY gathering at Burger King

H22AOC planned a gathering at Burger King, The Curve.

Alright, 7pm, attend to a friend's open house at Sungai Buloh.

8:40pm, all the way to Burger King.

While Aron reached, he saw Lewis's car, when he open my door, he saw Hisha's ride, arriving. They have a while of chit chat and go in together to meet Lewis.



Tajul, Amin and Zul arrived together after that.


and Alan as well, the most fortune number in our club. Guess what, Thomas taiko also joined us for the gathering.

Chat till 12am, then everybody go walk around the "pool of prelude"

and there is a guy call Mike walk near, and talk with Thomas, says that he wan to know more about our club and he owns a Ford Capri. He exchange phone number with Thomas and Aron, and left.

Continue research on cars XD

Until 12:40am, they left 1 by 1, and so are we.

Power Window spoiled

Arhh...the whole unit start making weird sound, like it is stucked. So Aron drive to Mechanic Kong to check.

He removed my driver door panel...


the power window unit looks like this..


the gear still in good shape, suspecting the motor of the unit...lets start to remove the cover..


the motor :


the carbon habis liao....so it making weird sound when going up...don think the carbon is on sale...it is a very tiny carbon cube...

Mechanic Kong have done some mod on the unit but it cant help...so he advised me to find another unit in chopshop....oh well...need to start looking for it......maybe the chopshop wont sell it seperately, mostly the whole door.....

Today, 12 Feb, Aron went to Haki Trade to look for the motor, but the chopshop just have the left side.....alright....then going to the next chopshop which having a prelude halfcut for sale, yes!! they have it!! After get it, Aron went to Mechanic Kong and install it.


Finally, the power window is back T.T

2 is better than 1

Aron went to Lim to re-wire the signal to the small light beside the headlamp, don have signal = danger.


Because the muffler is removed, so Aron decide to VROOOM all the way to Kepong to get me a set of muffler. Reached the shop around 3pm, have some chit chat and the sifu recommend mugen twin loop and mod it to twin pipe to fit my rear bumper.


Lets get it started.






Finally,


Sifu agreed that if the tip is bigger, it will be nicer, but too bad that is the biggest tip so far in his shop.

Regression

After 1 week staying in the workshop, the new kit is finally on my body, and Aron pick me up right after he finished his class. Around 3:30pm.




Exhaust is removed due to blocking the rear bumper, so today Aron experienced fully straight flow. Very noisy....Going MAD while VTEC kicks in.

He went to Kent Exhaust nearby his house, but cant decide the rear muffler for me because the design in the shop is very limited.


Might VROOM VROOOOMM all the way to Kepong....to choose rear muffler.
