Remove the plate by using 10mm nut wrench.


Looks like this, just remove it and plug in the new 1.



Screw it back, DONE.

Hidden Info

Since it doesnt show fuel and water temp, Aron decided to remove it, for the convenience to try out the meter while buying.

DIY style!!

First remove the tweeter cover, then remove the screw located above the gauge visor like picture below, there are 8 of them.



After that, take out the rubber trim below the visor, just pull it out will do.



Remove the visor that attach with the clock adjustable, remove the connector will do.

The fuel meter and water temp unit is there.



Remove the screw that hold it, 2 at the each side.



Remove the connector, 1 for clock, I'm not sure what is the middle unit for..., and the other 1 is for fuel meter.

Done.

Now the car like track car, until we found the meter.

CNY Bonus Scratch

After Aron finish his discussion with his group mate, he return to the car and saw a familiar plate on the ground, he go near and check, found that its my number plate.....and my front bumper was kena scratch by a car .


Deep scratch caused by the screw of the number plate bracket...ouch.....



Few clip bracket broken.....zzz

According to the placement of the bracket on the floor, the story should be...



" A driver is reversing his / her / it car, he didn't notice my number plate bracket is located in front of the bumper and thought he / she / it can make it without touching anything....after that, the fella ran away......"

[ DIY ] TopFuel 1000

Bought a TopFuel Power Chamber from Dylan.
Time to do something related to performance, muahaha.

DIY Style!!

Pop the hood.

Locate the clip that lock the original rubber hose with throttle body, loosen it and take out the hose.

While Aron is going to put in the TopFuel intake, he found that the converter hose that come along doesnt fit the throttle body....

So he went to buy another converter hose, the black 1.
Problem solved !

After 2 hrs.....

Welded ARB end link

Aron did a bit research on the net regarding the clunk and effect of my rear passenger side.

Upper arm changed

Lower arm changed.

Most probably is the Anti Roll Bar bushes/ ball joint. So he went to get 1 set.

When the mechanic remove the old 1, Aron was shocked. Because....



Compare to the original......

Oh well, the bushes has broken and the ball joint is bad.

After changed, still got the clunking sound and the skipping effect during road bump....

Oh....what else man.........

I am turning to 20 this year.

Back to Old Time

Sent to Glenmarie for the front bumper spraying.


Done on the second day.

Went to Sunway for a new number plate.

Trip to Penang

Planned for a trip to Penang with Celica Houk, on 16th Dec 2010.

Actually is depart at 7am, but something wrong with my rear boot, it cant be closed. Spent 30 min to fix it, but failed, so just remove the plastic around it to make it closed.

Ready to depart.

Then we have breakfast at Bidor.

While on the way to Bidor, we met "Mr Audi". We keep playing around him. Coincidentally, we ate at the same place....


Duck noodle.

After breakfast, continue the journey to the North.

Something happened during the journey: The plastic board under the car of Celica is loosen. Spent 1 hour + to fix it.


Fixed. Wakao, so many problem....lets continue.


We reached PPIsland Hotel around 2pm.



After check in, we start our food trip:


Back to hotel luuu~

By the way, their parking lot...."very humble" for us =X

Next day:

Went to try the famous sister's curry mee...


and meet up with Su Cheng + her sis Hui, and took some shot in her booth.

Going back to Seberang Perai, by ferry.


Heading to Houk's grandma house, to overnight.



Estate area, fresh air~~
Back to KL the next day.


While on the way back, a lot of SUV and MPV speeding, especially Estima and Alphard. Until we met Mr Mini, who are interested for some game with the orange Celica. I follow behind to watch the show.


My turn to play!!
After few KM, Mr Mini move to emergency lane and speed up, Aron refuse to do so. But Houk potong me and follow what Mr Mini does.


Many car on the road, so Aron just cruising. After few km, we saw Houk, drive slowly and waiting for us. While Aron drive beside him, he point in front, followed by a thumb down sign. I think is saying that the Mini are so so only. Should be Mini Cooper?

Stop at Tapah for a rest and some chit chat about the incident just now.


After 20 min of rest, continue our journey back to KL.

Highway is fun, we met a Singapore plate Camry, who is a young man that speed too.




Aron on this time. Houk gave way after that. Here We go.


Maybe due to safety issue, the Camry stop accelerating at 170km/h. After few km, he turn into rest area.

After that, all the way back home.
