Engine Mounting

Tried to source a set of engine mounting at chopshop, but no luck, only able to have 2 pieces, which is left and right. Decided to get new mounting for those Aron couldn't source.

Sent to Mechanic Chin this morning.

Mechanic Chin helps to source mounting at chopshop to cut down the cost, and taa daa~
1 piece found, which is the one under intake manifold. Now only left the one near the radiator...

Overnight at workshop tonight...

Update ( 23 July 2013)
Mech Chin found the last piece of mounting from halfcut, and installation are done around 5pm.

No more vibration during idling.

New Battery Terminal

Aron went to inquire and buy a new set of copper battery terminal for Dylan, but ended up he also getting one set for me.

Prepare to install.....

Done.

Looks cleaner.

Placebo effect? Shorter crank start....

Mystery Crack

Noticed a crack on my windscreen while Aron enter this morning, although it still perfect last night.

No sign of scratches.

No dent on body.

Nobody weeding.

No sign of finger print, windscreen still remains dirty after crack.

But how....?

The crack extended few inches down even Aron wind down quarter of my window during parking under sun....

UR Front Strut

Spent years looking for Spoon strut bar but no luck. End up ordering Ultra Racing front strut bar at After12 Motorsport.

Loosing the nut...

Blown Fuse

Radiator fan stop functioning after I gone through a pond of water.

Radiator fan stop working even jumping the fan switch socket, condenser fan is working.

Start the troubleshooting, from basic - under-hood fuse box.

Fuse for radiator fan located at the far left. Blue fuse.

Blown...

Changed another fuse, problem solved.

Coolant Change

Please do the coolant change after the engine is totally COOL DOWN to avoid injuries.

Decided to change the coolant, with kangen water provided by Charlie.

Item to prepare: 

Water

New Coolant

12mm T Bolt nut

Locate the drain bolt for radiator, it is at the bottom of radiator, if you look from above, there is where it located:

Remove the radiator cap and drain the old coolant, and locate the bleed bolt at the top of thermostat housing.

Loosen it.

After the old coolant being drained. Screw the drain bolt back to its original position. and start filling in new coolant, and mix with water until there is water coming out from bleed bolt, tighten the bleed bolt and continue to fill the water until it is full. Close the radiator cap.

Castrol EDGE

Bought 5 Quartz of Castrol EDGE from seller in forum.

He gave us a bottle of engine flush as free gift.

Sent to Mechanic Chin's workshop for oil change.

Finally realize that HAMP oil filter always used on me for all these while.

Pouring in...

Pursuit of Stiff

Revisit Titan for servicing and upgrading, 10kg front aren't enough for Aron, so he decided to go up another level.

Removed rim.

 Removed absorber.

New spring for front.

Spring, front and rear. Found out only 6kg for the rear...

 Resemble absorber. 

Went home after that. 

Definitely stiffer, and 1 step closer to Aron's desire handling.

Rear Brake Pad

Weird grinding sound came out from rear brakes during reverse + braking.

Went to Mech Keong's workshop for examination. 

Prepare to take out the rim..

Rotor and brake pad....

 New brake pad for rear...

 Installing..

So far weird grinding sound is gone. =D
