OCT Fell and Failed

Experiencing power drop during cruising but not during acceleration, not often. Until one time, idling bouncing between 1k rpm to 1.5k rpm. Aron decide to pop the hood to find out the culprit. 

And he saw the oil catch tank fell off from the bracket...

Power drop caused by the oil catch tank hose touching the pulley and make it slow.

Bouncing idling caused by vacuum leak.

Source for a new oil catch tank.

Installed.

Problem solved.

O2 Sensor Misbehave

Suddenly feel some loss in power during night drive.

And it light up on the next day. Long time no see.

With this 3 symptom, without scanning for error code, Aron decide to change the o2 sensor.

Just notice that, the 1 I am using is slimmer...

Left: Slimmer, faulty 

Right: Thicker, bought from MML

At the same time, Aron change the driveshaft at the driver side and hope that the clicking sound during acceleration will go away.

But too bad, the clicking sound still remain, need to look into something else.

Check light gone though....Better fuel consumption now.

Oil Cooler Differences?

Minor oil leak found near oil cooler area. After examine, O-ring is the culprit.

Since my ex-H22A is lying around, Mechanic Chin took it as a sample to buy the O-ring.

When he took out my current oil cooler, only found that, my current oil cooler is different than ex-H22A.

O-ring in oil cooler from current H22A is slightly bigger than o-ring in oil cooler from ex-H22A

Anyways, problem solved by purchased another O-ring.
