After meeting up with Lewis and having breakfast at KFC, Aron go our from the parking lot without noticing the rear wheel is too near with the divider, and we went on it, and drop down from it.

Aron didnt pay much attention and continue driving. After drop Lewis at Plaza Glomac, and he go to Rev Performance. After stop the car, come out, only noticed that my rear bumper already cracked. Sent to Mr Theva after that.

His worker got it fixed in 5 min.

Soundstream 125

Just got my rear speaker replaced, with Soundstream set.

Original rear speaker doesn't work for these years while Aron owned me, so he decided to get it replaced for better "self enjoyment".

Mech Kong perform a wire check and speaker check.

End up its wire inside HU doesnt connect properly + faulty speaker. COMBO~

To avoid modification of the bracket of the original speaker, Aron requesting same size speaker with original speaker which is around 5''.

Food Trip Invasion - Ipoh

Aron and his classmate plan to have a food trip to ipoh, since some of his best friends stay at Ipoh.

The trip is ON after few times of re-arrange.

Aron pick up Sue An at 7am, and pick up Wai Yi, our tour guide of the trip at 8:30am due to sesat jalan (lost). And the journey begins.

On the highway, Aron noticed my hood is shaking while cruising with a Teana at 170kmh. He slow down, and it still have slightly shake at 120kmh. He stop me at 1 of the rest area and check, end up its the hood pin lock at the right is loosen.

It took me 2 hrs to reach the toll of Simpang Pulai. We head to Wai Yi's house to unload the luggage (actually its just 2 bags).

Aron contact Han Seng, the second tour guide of the trip. He suggest Wai Yi to bring us to Meng Kok to have dimsum as "brunch". After Aron fill up their stomach, he ask Han Seng for wrench set to tighten my hood pin lock. It took them around 15min to get it tighten.

Next destination - Gunung Lang.

Good view here - lake, fishes, flowers, boat, playground. Sue An and Wai Yi having a good time to shoot photo.

After 2 hrs at Gunung Lang, we proceed to "Big Tree Leg" (Under Big Tree) to have some local meal - noodle with self choose fried dishes (they call it 料). They have variety of choice for fried dishes. Time to rest their stomach and body, they head to Wai Yi's house for bath,and nap.

The food trip continue at night.

Around 7pm, Wai Yi bring us to try the local famous Claypot Chicken Rice, at Tasek.
The size of claypot is a lot bigger than KL, Aron was stunned when he saw the claypot in big size, because he is going to finish it, hehehe.

Beside the restaurant is pasar malam (night market). Pasar malam section is good for digesting. Chui Yew is meeting them up at Tesco. Long time didnt see her. Although they dont have sufficient time to chat, but they still happy to see her.

Let's call it a day. Aron overnight at Wai Yi's house together with Sue An.

Windy cave, good to peace down your mind. Aron and his gang challenge the 500 stairs to the top of the mountain, and they did it. =D

Very nice view at the top.

Next meal - Famous "Ding Ding Dang Dang"(sound of frying mee)
Although Aron is still full, but he still try his best to finish the delicious fry noodle. It taste great, the smell release from inner side of noodle.

Its not early, Han Seng bring them to buy the famous salted chicken as souvenir, Han Seng told Sue An: "Later wind down the glass, and put a peace to them" Sue An follow, end up the worker bring 2 salted chicken to Sue An.
Trust me, it is the fastest drive-thru EVER.
Sue An bought 2, Aron bought 1 =D

Next souvenir - famous homemade biscuit.
Bake at home, sell at home. 100% homemade + bake with charcoal.

After saying good bye to Han Seng and his GF and Wai Yi's mom. We depart to KL around 4pm, with rainy weather.

Still, the hood still shake slightly, Aron went down and check, the hood pin lock loose again, because it is aluminium, worry that the thread will lose and fly the hood away, Aron going to change it to steel.

Reach home around 6:30pm.

Total mileage traveled:

Conclusion of this trip:
-Salted Chicken Restaurant is the fastest drive-thru ever.
-2 days are not enough for a food trip at Ipoh.
-Sufficient time to eat, insufficient time to digest.
-DAMN A LOT OF LENG LUI~

Due to few liter of SUMO left over, Aron decide to use it for this coming oil change.

This is the magnetic oil sump nut installed during last oil change. Small metal powder on the magnet.

Lets start the swapping.

Found that the pin are lost during the delivery process, so Aron have to get a new set.

The next day, got it from Rev Performance. And send for installation + get new horn.

Sparco Hood Pin.

Weird. The hood cannot close even adjust the lock. So have to drill extra hole to hold the locker in order to get the hood locked.

And for the pin, spent more than 1 hour to measure and adjust the position.

Now the hot air got somewhere else to go. =D

Go Green

Went to Sunway Batu Cave this morning around 9am, because Aron found that there is a person can repair/service adjustable absorber at reasonable price.

Waited for almost 1 hour for the workshop to be open. It open around 10:30am because 1 of the worker do not have the key.

He is Joe, the absorber guy. =D
After some examination, he put the absorber into his car, and he bring it home for service. Maybe his secret workshop at his house. Huhuhu.

Aron waited for more than 3 hours and Joe came back. Installing...

Spent 2 hours for installation and adjusting ride height. Although Joe already adjust the height of passenger side is lower than the driver side, it still slant to driver side....

But however, the weird sound and effect GONE !

Custom VS+GC

Met up with seller of custom volt stabilizer and grounding cable, Eric last Friday at Tesco, Puchong.

Waiting for Eric.

Examine and measure the length of grounding cable needed.

Eric did a test on my previous grounding cable, found out that set is running no current. All got replaced by current grounding cable.

Done.

Effect noticed by Aron after installation:
- Brighter headlamp
- Cooler air cond
- Better acceleration ( might be psychological )
- Nicer engine bay

[ DIY ] Cleaning FITV

Tools needed:
1. Flat head screwdriver
2. Cross head screwdriver
3. Wrench size 8
4. Tissue / Cotton / something similar

Lets get it started.

First, unscrew the 2 screw that locking the plate, if it loose, use wrench size 8.

Inside looks like this.

Then, use the flat head screwdriver to remove the white plastic. Just put your screwdriver in the thread, and twist like usual.

Reminder: Before you remove it, peep from the hole beside and remember where it is, because you will need to screw it back to where it was later.

Parts inside. Mine consider clean.

Further removal. You will know how to remove the spring if you look at the small circle plate with 2 hole stack together.

Reminder: When you assemble back, DO NOT screw it all the way to the end, you should screw it back to where it was.

Screw it in more if your car idles too high. The opposite if it idles too low.

Aron was curious about what is inside at the other side of the FITV, so he unscrew it, and dust burst out....

It just a "wow" to Aron.

Is this consider mud?

How many years it takes to form this.....

After cleaning with tissue....

Aron take it to basin and wash it.

Stain cant be remove. but its a lot cleaner.

Now just assemble everything back. =)

[ DIY ] FITV Block Off

Aron accidentally found out that the intake manifold which bought over from MJ, came with FITV block off plate.

Since Aron is in holiday + I having some idle problem occasionally, so he decided to do some DIY.

Tools needed (right to left):

- Flat Head Screwdriver
- Cross Head Screwdriver
- Wrench size 10
- Double Flex Wrench size 10 / 11
- Cotton to mop your sweat (Optional) =X

Lets get it started.

First, remove the Air Ram.

The FITV located under throttle body.

There are 3 nut need to remove in order to take out the FITV.
2 at outer side, and 1 at inner side, located at the middle. Which looks like...

2 screw at the outer side is easy to remove, for the inner side 1....good luck to you.
You need to touch and "feel" the location of the screw, use the flex wrench to unscrew it. May take some time.

After quite some time, Aron took out my FITV.

Quite dirty.

If you feel like fixing the fluctuating idle problem, you need to clean the idle screw located inside, just unscrew the 2 bolt, and you will see it.

Lets continue, a rubber between throttle body and the custom plate is suggested.

Fixing the block off plate is 10 times easier than removing FITV, because it is flatten, and you just need to screw it back, and install everything back. You are done.

Flying without Wing

Aron removed my wing today. Erm...no particular reason, just curious how do I looks like while the wing is removed.

It is easy as 123:

1. Open rear trunk.
2. Unbolt the nut at the edge of the trunk, 2 at each side.
3. Cut the wire for brake light and u are done.

Remember to wrap the wire so it wont go "sot plug" =X

New look.

Side view is definitely nicer without the OEM wing.

Foam & Magnetic Nut

Aron has completed his internship. Since he working at Sunway, so he decided to buy something as a reward to himself. After consideration, he bought....

- Original HKS foam type air filter
- Works Engineering magnetic oil sump nut

Difference between imitation HKS filter and original:

Went to service me on the next day, using SUMO R3, because he heard 1 of his member said that it is great.

Magnetic oil sump nut put on after drained the oil.

Aron's phone having some "auto reboot" problem and using a spare phone during that time, so...no photo taken during servicing.....

Expedient Method

Nowadays my front end act like a boat when I were doing 140km/h, feel unsafe.
Aron sent me to Mech Chin to examine for the condition of the bushes.

End up only the passenger side's upper arm bushes are broken, others are all fine.

After few hours of consideration, Aron made up his mind.........

Never thought of using this again, but since the stock absorber is leaking badly, so....

1. Now I am using the buddyclub lip, definitely higher than the custom bumper.
2. Very loud clunk when I go over uneven road may because of the custom thread.

So I am running with original thread.

We went to HPOC + HAVOC + MHCC gathering at RnR Kinrara last night, and test the absorber.

Loud clunk is tremendously decreased.
Stability? *Thumbs up*

MP1A

Due to pressure given by family + failed to get manual conversion kit + halfcut expensive.

So Aron decided to go for the cheapest and fastest way to fix me:

Get an auto gearbox from chopshop, and swap with current gearbox.

Send to Mech Chin workshop, for swapping.

Gearbox Down

Wonder why nowadays so many problem came out...my gearbox doesnt engage 3rd gear few days ago, and it totally not working when it is in D. It engage gear very slow, like you can feel every procedure....

Mech Chin do some basic stuff on me - Change the ATF. (even my ATF only done 10k km)

After the ATF change (might not because of ATF), it became worst, it doesnt move even Aron engaged D, he must give some gas so I will move slowly...

Aron must maintain under 10kmh, if not it will turn into neutral gear if he exceed the speed, and it stuck there until Aron restart me.

Took 20min to reach home.... have to choose a right way to deal with this problem......

Almost Got Stolen

11pm of 5th July.

Aron went to Palm Spring to look for his friend, and they went out for supper.

Return to me around 1:30am. My alarm activated, he thought he accidentally press it, so he deactivate it. He noticed my meter, all light up. After that, he check all my window, all in 1 piece.
He enter the me, saw that the in-car fuse box cover are opened, and the gear position is in N.

He put in the key, and trying to turn, but failed. He called Dylan after that, just for some idea to turn off the ignition. After 10 min of talking, Dylan decided to come and see what he can do....big thanks to him.

Aron call his parent. They arrived in 20 min, Aron's dad able to switch off the ignition, but only with the key plug in....end up the car cant be arm with alarm. So Aron overnight around me with his friend's companies.

3am to 9am.....what a suffering night....with a lot of mosquito....

Finally...9am....Mech Kong's worker is coming to save me and Aron.

He trying his best to start me up.

Battery not enough current, so Aron's friend is lending a hand.....

After a few tries, I finally started!!
Its good to have the engine running again =D
Drive to Mech Kong's shop immediately.

Need to get this fix. Went to chopshop, found another set of this.
And, Aron got a new key.

- Avoid park at dark and quiet area for a long time
- Always left no valuable thing in your car.

Brake Issue

Due to the brake fluid leaking time to time, so Aron decided to find out the culprit and settle it.

After Mech Chin's worker examine, found out it leaks from the brake caliper at rear driver side.
This is it...

To avoid hassle and save time, Mech Chin direct swap the brake caliper with another caliper found at chopshop.
Which is this...

Progress:

After everything is installed. Aron pay and went for testing, and amazingly, he found that....

No Brake!!

To be exact, very weak braking power, which is need to press down almost 90% of the pedal, only you can feel a little bit of braking.

So drive it back to Mech Chin, and Mech Chin did something like bleeding...

After that is better, but still, braking power BEFORE all these is way better.....now I having weaker braking power.....

At evening, Aron drive me to Monterez Club for jogging, and found that.....the disc rotor got "gutter" = =

Thermal

After having lunch with family, Aron went to Rev Performance to get a Thermo Bandage.
Its time for some DIY stuff. +_+

This bandage supposed to wrap the extractor to bring down the temperature under hood.
But it also can be use on wrapping the intake pipe, to bring down temperature inside the pipe.

First, pop the hood, and remove the air ram.

After removing the air ram, Aron saw.....
means the air ram itself is milling the oil catch tank, even it block by a piece of rubber-a-like sticker....the sticker gone....

Heartache o...
hopefully this wont pierce....

Before the wrapping start, Aron open up the air filter kit and wash the sponge.

Lets get the WRAPPING started!!

Took around 5-10min.

Reinstall on me...

Benefit of the thermal bandage warped air intake:
- Maintain heat inside the stainless steel air ram
- Prevent heating up the stainless steel air ram
- Prevent scratches to the stainless steel air ram
- Make ur engine bay looks tidy ( Subjective, some driver may like the shiny shiny stainless steel air ram )

After wrapping, Aron bring me to Mech Kong, for a change of radiator fan motor which suspect by Aron's dad that causing me overheating.

This is a non-original fan motor.

Installing a new...non-original fan motor =X
Original fan motor cost twice of an imitation fan motor, and Aron is not sure whether is this causing the overheating issue.

Mech Kong reinstalling.....
and he change my radiator water too, and add in coolant.

Result: Overheating issue isnt caused by slow fan. It still overheat.

BBQ @ Batang Kali, Ulu Yam

Wake up around 7:30am, then go for breakfast.
Depart to Petronas Batu Cave at 8am.
Reach at 8:15am due to smooth traffic. As usual, we are the first arrived.

After waited for 30min, its raining. Ken arrived. After some chit chat, then Aron contact Amin and Allan, found out they are at the Petronas which is located opposite.
So we went and join them. 6 of them arrived.

After some chit chat as well, call the president, and found out again...the Petronas we was at IS the correct gathering point.
We waiting for other member and the rain to stop.

Rain stop around 11am +, we depart to Batang Kali. Convoy. Reach around 12pm+.
Unfortunately, 2 of our member got into accident, 1 black prelude hit another black prelude's rear bumper. A panel moved in, and lip cracked.

Lets get the BBQ + River Section started!!

3 pm, the rain is coming. We pack ASAP and get back to parking area.

We end up minum at one of the mamak at Gohtong Jaya.

Traffic today is jam everywhere. Aron dropped Steven at Amin's house, then we went home.

Charging Under Sun

Yesterday, around 4pm, Aron is working at USJ 21. Suddenly he received a call from his internet pal Rachel, saying her car broken down around Summit USJ due to battery die. Some uncle who pass by did help her to charge the battery but it couldnt last long. So Aron ask his supervisor, Mr Andrew's permission to leave the office awhile.

After 5-10 min, he found her car, and Rachel herself as well, under very hot sun. She got 1 friend with her. First time met, shy...huhu...
Successfully charged the battery, but it die off BEFORE the car is moving. After discussion, Aron send her friend back to her house around there, then bring Rachel to Subang Parade to collect her CPU.

Aron managed to get back to office around 6:25pm. Boss is there, they are friendly and understand what happened just now. Aron and Rachel went to Subang Empire for dinner while waiting for her dad.

Her dad reach around 8:30 at Rachel's friend' house, so its the end of the story.

After some "buang" effect of me, Aron decided to add some bar which will strengthen my body.

So went to After12 and order the front lower bar yesterday.

Why front lower bar only? Because wallet say so >.<

Bar arrived today.

Instant Review:
The bar convert the leg rest area (where the pedal are) to foot massager, it will vibrate while u speed. Even you can feel moderate vibration while in D mode, and slightly firmer driving experience.

It took alarm's place, so need to re-locate the alarm.

So went for an oil change after 3000km.

This time....

Well, the price is a bit over my budget at this workshop.....but we will see how the oil perform....

After all the checking, the water temp sensor is working fine!!

but

it didnt overheat either......

must be something between the sensor and gauge went wrong....

by the way, after refilling the water....brown bubble keep coming out from the radiator...........

Mech Chin says, this is because the gasket is slightly damage...

This is the hot topic between car enthusiast.
In my opinion, many of the used part are still in good condition, and also cheaper.
Price of new parts are few times more expensive.

What if my engine spoiled? Can I still get a NEW H22A DOHC VTEC Engine? Or pasang Campro?

What if I involve in accident? If my headlamp are broken, I can get few pair in chopshop now.
What are they expect Aron to do IF they banned importing used car part?
Modify to Proton Wira's headlamp?
Or, buy new? How much it gotta be?

Its easy, case of car stealing will increase due to lack of parts, and many people will lose their job.

What all this for?

Hope this will never happen.

If you read through my blog, then you will understand how important are the used parts for an old car, because:
1. Easy to find.
2. Cheaper.
3. Original.

Chopshop in Kepong gave Aron a call this morning, saying that got 1 unit of fuel and water temp meter.

Item still attached to the halfcut.

Taking out from the halfcut....

Installed on me. Other parts will be install after we reach home. Aron went for class after that.

Reconnect the clock adjuster, and put in the visor, rubber trim, and the cover above the visor, and screw them back.

Looks like this, just remove it and plug in the new 1.

Screw it back, DONE.

Since it doesnt show fuel and water temp, Aron decided to remove it, for the convenience to try out the meter while buying.

DIY style!!

First remove the tweeter cover, then remove the screw located above the gauge visor like picture below, there are 8 of them.

After that, take out the rubber trim below the visor, just pull it out will do.

Remove the visor that attach with the clock adjustable, remove the connector will do.

The fuel meter and water temp unit is there.

Remove the screw that hold it, 2 at the each side.

Remove the connector, 1 for clock, I'm not sure what is the middle unit for..., and the other 1 is for fuel meter.

Done.

Now the car like track car, until we found the meter.

After Aron finish his discussion with his group mate, he return to the car and saw a familiar plate on the ground, he go near and check, found that its my number plate.....and my front bumper was kena scratch by a car .

Deep scratch caused by the screw of the number plate bracket...ouch.....

According to the placement of the bracket on the floor, the story should be...

" A driver is reversing his / her / it car, he didn't notice my number plate bracket is located in front of the bumper and thought he / she / it can make it without touching anything....after that, the fella ran away......"

Bought a TopFuel Power Chamber from Dylan.
Time to do something related to performance, muahaha.

DIY Style!!

Pop the hood.

Locate the clip that lock the original rubber hose with throttle body, loosen it and take out the hose.

While Aron is going to put in the TopFuel intake, he found that the converter hose that come along doesnt fit the throttle body....

So he went to buy another converter hose, the black 1.
Problem solved !

After 2 hrs.....

Aron did a bit research on the net regarding the clunk and effect of my rear passenger side.

Upper arm changed

Lower arm changed.

Most probably is the Anti Roll Bar bushes/ ball joint. So he went to get 1 set.

When the mechanic remove the old 1, Aron was shocked. Because....

Compare to the original......

Oh well, the bushes has broken and the ball joint is bad.

After changed, still got the clunking sound and the skipping effect during road bump....

Oh....what else man.........

Actually is depart at 7am, but something wrong with my rear boot, it cant be closed. Spent 30 min to fix it, but failed, so just remove the plastic around it to make it closed.

Something happened during the journey: The plastic board under the car of Celica is loosen. Spent 1 hour + to fix it.

While on the way back, a lot of SUV and MPV speeding, especially Estima and Alphard. Until we met Mr Mini, who are interested for some game with the orange Celica. I follow behind to watch the show.

After few KM, Mr Mini move to emergency lane and speed up, Aron refuse to do so. But Houk potong me and follow what Mr Mini does.

Many car on the road, so Aron just cruising. After few km, we saw Houk, drive slowly and waiting for us. While Aron drive beside him, he point in front, followed by a thumb down sign. I think is saying that the Mini are so so only. Should be Mini Cooper?

Stop at Tapah for a rest and some chit chat about the incident just now.

After 20 min of rest, continue our journey back to KL.

Highway is fun, we met a Singapore plate Camry, who is a young man that speed too.

Aron on this time. Houk gave way after that. Here We go.

Maybe due to safety issue, the Camry stop accelerating at 170km/h. After few km, he turn into rest area.

After that, all the way back home.

During road bump, there is a mystery "duk" sound coming from the passenger side rear absorber area. Since Aron changed the lower arm, so he decided to change the left upper arm that he didnt change last time.

After asking in forum, Aron send me to tire shop for examination.

The young mech go under me, and says that my lower arm bush all broken.....so we went to Kepong to get a pair of it.

Crooked Issue

Before Aron go to Macau, he leave me to Mech Chin to examine the "crooked" problem and hope he can find out why.

After he came back, I'm still inside the workshop, working on the rear absorber. According to Mech Chin, my front spring seems like not for me, seems like from other car, not to say very sure, but the % very high, well....see how Aron decide.

After all the repair done, ok la....now not that obvious, it cant be fix 100%, but its better than before, at least in visual =X

Take out the air intake....

Culprit of the leak:Only a pinhole, caused the leaking.

Radio auto restart, rpm and speed meter drop to 0 while brake light, low beam, corner light, radio, air cond are turned on at the same time. Failed to start on Thursday night. So Aron send me to Mech Kong yesterday morning.

By using Voltmeter, knew that the culprit is the alternator. So Aron went to Kepong and purchase an alternator.

From CF4, need to mod the socket.

Replacing...

Crooked to the Right

Noticed that I am slanting to the right side. 4 finger gap at the left side, and 3 finger gap at the right side. After doing some research and confirmed by Mech Chin, my upper arm of the right side is worn out. So went to usual place and get 1.

Aron choose to install at a workshop there, because he can test it all the way back to Subang.

After replacing, Aron noticed that the bush of the ball joint is cracked. While driving home, no more weird sound from the back, stable and quiet cornering. :D

But I'm still slanting to the right.....the front driver side, jerking during left corner...maybe the front upper arm need to be replace too?

Sepang Time Attack

HP4G member Allan the fortune lude and HPOC member Madew are participating in the time attack event organized by zerotohundred at Sepang on 31 Oct. Aron went to give support. :D

If according to plan, we are waiting for HPOC to pass by the toll and follow them to Sepang F1 Circuit, but Aron received call from Steven saying that they are using some kampung road to reach there. So we move to Sepang F1 Circuit immediately, spent almost 30 min due to lost. =X

It's time for an oil change. Aron went to Kaitenaz located in Sunway for the Torco engine oil.
After reading good feedback about it, so Aron decided to give it a try. He planned to change my transmission fluid too.

Went to Mech Chin for oil changing.

Went for a spin after that.

Err.......engine slightly quiet....power.....not much different........will try again....hope its just my illusion...

Its like this:

Aron went to college for class, don have parking. So he double parked, and HE DID LEFT HIS NUMBER at the passenger side window becoz my passenger side is facing parked cars.

Around 4pm, Aron's friend call him saying got 1 uncle very angry coz I blocked his car.
Aron came down, the security and uncle saw him, and below is the conversation:

Bad distributor caused:
- lost power
- unstable rpm during cruising (Misfire?)
- heavy acceleration

A Visit to Kajang / Bangi

19 Sept, Aron and friends planned for a "Satay Trip", at Kajang, the land of Satay.
We reached Restoran Haji Samuri around 1:30pm, because we got lost earlier, wahaha.

After lunch, Aron' friends heading back to KL but we are going to Bangi to visit Acap and Jebat.
Steven was there too.

Steven's ride doesnt engage VTEC, so Acap and Jebat help him to check the problem, might come from the VTEC Solenoid.

This is it....

Swap with mine for a test, yes it is engage!! Problem from VTEC solenoid, after clean up his own VTEC Solenoid, VTEC engage too. So it might be dirty?

After some chit chat regarding overheat, Acap and Jebat found that our fan switch spoiled too. XD
Will get it replace as soon as possible.

Jebat knew that my check engine light came out randomly, so he offer Aron to diagnose me again, and found out 1 faulty fuse in fuse box need to be replace, causing cigarette lighter, room light, wiper and trunk light not working. The check light caused by low voltage of o2 sensor.

Trip to Port Dickson

7th of August

HPOC Malaysia organized a trip to Port Dickson. Aron is joining.
At the morning of 7, Aron arrived Subang Parade to meet up with Alpha because Aron don't know the way to Sungai Besi's Toll. =X

He is here, Alpha, the Type S lude =D

So we head to Sungai Besi's Toll after that. Most of them are arrived.

Jebat and his diagnose machine.

Jebat tried to diagnose me but too bad something is wrong and it cant start.
Next, diagnose Alpha's ride, it is on! But it shows no connection....Anyway, will figure it out later. Lets start the convoy =D

We took around 40 min at North South Highway, cruising around 100km per hour, and then we exit to Port Dickson.

After toll...

After 5 min rest, we continue the trip. All the way to the beach~

We park according to generation for photo shooting.

After photo shooting, we have few event on the beach, which is:

3. Communicate without voice

Its fun, especially the communicate without voice, although didn't win, but still fun. Event manager draw a random monster, and they have to let their group member know without talking. All came out funny thing XD

So this is the malfunction o2 sensor...

We head back to beach after that, and try to prang. Ops, check light comes back after 3.5k rpm.....gotta diagnose...

So Jebat took out his diagnose machine again, plug it to me, and the other side plug to the cigarette lighter in his car, and yes, it works!

Small Stuff

After finished class, Aron went to Jalan Ipoh to purchase the Head Up Display from Sri Ardin, then went back to Subang for installation. :D

Don't really know the boss' name, they call him "Panjang", means long, becoz he is tall. (why don call tinggi...hmm...). The boss is a talkactive and friendly person.

For the CAI, the mech need to remove the "dust holder" under the air filter in order to fit in the CAI becoz the "dust holder" blocked. It located near the front driver side wheel, looks like this:

and then the shape of the hole is oval, so need some time to fit in the CAI.

Installation finished around 5pm.

Minor Adjustment

Noticed that the gap between fender and tyre aren't the same at the rear. 4 fingers at the left and 3 fingers at the right. Went to Sunway and seek for adjustment because workshop around Aron's area don have the hex wrench. KC ask Aron try Millennium Motorsport in Sunway.

Their boss Joshua is a friendly guy, and their price of adjusting is reasonable too (in Sunway at least, confirm!! ) A young mechanic do the adjustment for me.

After the adjustment, the gap remain the same.....the young mechanic remove the rim and adjust it again, this time he make it slightly lower than right side, but it still remain the same after Aron driver me around.

But the best part is, the chance of the "duk duk" sound came out from the rear passenger side are reduced!! Still will come out if encounter some hole....... =X but most of the time not, especially go over road bump.

More comfortable to drive =X

Sunway Mentari TT

TT was held yesterday because most of H22AOC member are free and 1 member from Singapore name Adrian is in town, so we plan to meet him.

Reached destination around 9:45pm, but since Aron mark the wrong place in the map, so they sesat-ed.... =X
So Aron guide them from the petrol Station.

Zul and Lukman reached, and then Roy, Dylan, Izral, new face Danny and his friends, lastly Tajul. Too bad Adrian didnt show up because his friend wasnt around, so he went back to hometown.

Aron, Eugene, Jarreth and Toto planned to go to Genting before Eugene going back to Australia.
Meet up at Aron house at 8:30pm, and we departed, with 2 cars.

During the journey, nice corner, nice road, and nice wira blocking and challenging....Vtec kick in often during the journey.

Having a hard time look for parking.....and still found it, and they went to coffeebean shop.

Overheat Marathon

H22AOC having TT at Aman Suria at 9 of July. Around 9:15pm, Aron start me up and head to Aman Suria.

On the way, he saw a Civic Type R, so he follow behind him only. After turn into the CGC building, he felt something not right with me, air cond warm....rpm jerking.....eh? why got smoke come out from the hood?

OMFG, overheated!! The meter maxed the reading....

After he open the radiator cap, and fill in water. WOAH, all the sizzling sound come out, smoke come out like bbq.......have to wait until it settle.......

After fill in some water, and the temperature dropped, Aron start me up and hope that I can make it to destination, too bad, it heat up after 100 meter......

Forced to stop, when Aron is worrying where to get water....he noticed that there is a mosque beside him.....1 Malay uncle and 1 security guard guided him the source of water.

Alright, it able to make me to get to the destination. Meet Johnny, Dylan and his girl, and Zul.
Amen and Tajul reach after that, and Roy..he bring his girl too.... =X

Alright, time for game. They decided to go to highway to have some fun. Of course I am joining.
After we left the Original Kayu mamak, the temperature indicator goes up.....again.....Should be leaking caused by cracked water hose. Wasted...the event gonna be fun...
But Aron decided to go home.

The water temperature didn't raise, but for safety, Aron decided to stop there and check the water level.

This time, it gonna be a bit difficult....the faucet was locked, to prevent being stolen. And Aron saw this....

With the help of the worker, Aron got 2 bottle of water and filled me up.

Alright, we not gonna stop after this, because there is a long and straight road to my home.

After came out from Shell, Aron cruising 120km/h +, and we made it, the temperature raised while we are 100m++ away from home.

1 year Anniversary

Main Relay

Aron bought main relay for me yesterday but the shopkeeper gave him the wrong 1, which is for Integra, and Aron having a hard time to get under the dashboard to check the type of the main relay, but stucked at the steering wheel. XD

But still manage to get it.

After 2 days of wrong item delivery, Aron got the main relay RZ 0088 instead of RZ 0139 today. Since the pin number and position are the same, so Aron give it a try.

KC's dad recommend the shop beside his shop to help me change the main relay.

And the problem of "cant start after a hot run" is solved.

After did some research in H22AOC forum, Aron decided to visit Rev Performance in Sunway to get a HKS air filter.

Reached at 10:30am, but it open at 11am.

While removing the old air filter, dustssss fall down when rotating the air filter......

After install:

Didnt notice much difference so far, even in high revving. The only difference is:

Genting Drive

Aron posted in H22AOC forum about this half day trip. Around 9pm, we reached the McDonald we suppose to gather but it is crowded, so Aron went to Burger King. =P

Lewis reached around 9:40pm due to traffic jam. Alright, only 2 of them. Lets go.

After the toll, its a traffic jam.....oh man....

We cruise slowly, after its back to normal, Aron saw a Vios zig zag-ing between cars, so Aron go tailgate him. =P
I think the Vios' driver is fetching a girl.....

The journey up to the mountain was fun, corners, straight road, and driver who not willing to give way. XD

They found parking soon, and they went to Coffeebean.

Yap's brother joined them for chat around 1am. (Choe Wah, Choe Houk, Choe Hoong, of coz Choe Wah left earlier due to gf. XD )

We go back around 4am...
Of coz, I scratch on some slope especially when we going back.....

and...the fuel left 2 bars.....wtf? Aron drive me up to Genting with 8 bar.....oh well....
Lucky the Esso is still open, but only provide RON95....no choice....=X

Really need some skill to drive downhill....but we still manage to deal with those corner....slow and steady =X

Temperature Going Down

Air cond not cold anymore, so Aron decided to bring me to air cond specialist in Sungai Buloh.

Aron tell the young worker in the workshop, and he kindly explain all the progress and examine whole thing.

He removed my cooling coil for further inspect.

Cooling coil is not leaking, it might be the tube in front of the heat shield leaking, everytime Aron rev me up to 3k and above, and heard a "Turbo valve a like" sound.

He took it out, bring to weld and custom made the joint of the tube, and changed a new tube. Everything is fixed.

After everything is done, he clean the oil for me.

Rock and roll baby. Cold~~~ and the "Turbo valve a like" sound is gone.

Aron is satisfied with the workmanship and service provided by the shop, with detailed explanation and well-manners worker. The boss occasionally walk around to check the process of repairing.

My HID doesnt work normally, my right lamp is white but the left 1 is yellow, oh well, went back to Mech Lim.

His worker checked my ballast, and the problem came from it.

So Aron decide to take the HID kit out, and replace my bulb with some good 1.

Leaking, more worse than leaking.....
This is taken right after Aron off my engine.

After came back from Shah Alam, 2 km left to my house, the engine oil light lite up, and Aron is like "wtf", it on and off, then remain lite up. We go back ASAP.

Off my engine, pop the hood, heard a sound that is something like evaporate....will check it tomorrow morning. Hope it caused by loosen nut due to horrible bumping journey with hard Tein.

Refill engine oil? nah, the previous fella fill in toooo much. It is at the sufficient level now.

Sound from behind

After raised the height of the rear, every time i go over road bump, there is a "dok" sound coming from rear left area. After Mech Keong inspect, it should be coming from absorber.....

Well.....Aron "sien" already, everything just not in his plan..........

Temporary Solution:

Set both of the rear absorber to the hardest - 16. No problem so far.....and the braking power is improved.

Aron didnt sleep for the whole night, because of the suspension? or because he drink too much of chinese tea? huhu....

At 9am, he bring me go to Mechanic Keong's workshop to install the front adjustable that pass to him last week. I think the guy is experienced, he make another track for Aron when Aron is requesting 3''. He made another 2'' track.

1st round, try the 3'' track.
OMFG, Monsta Prelude!!! 9'' from the ground, 6 finger gap from tire to fender ! Aron forgot to take photo.....

2nd round, 2'' track.
Ok la....7'' from ground, 3 and half finger gap from tire to fender. But the spring compressed, so it hitting itself when going over uneven road at certain speed.....settled.

Next destination, Sunway.

At Blitz Garage, request to increase the height of the rear.

now both front and back facing the same problem. Spring compressed and hitting itself when going over uneven road. Have to tune it / find a way to settle.

Just now Aron came to me and adjust the soft/hard of the front suspension, found out that the adjustment knob of driver side' absorber is loose!!! Like turning a screw......he manage to turn with the click when he push it in, hope it works.

Temporary Solution:

Use a wrench size number 8, and firm the nut below the knob to prevent loosing, and turn the knob. it is working.

Front absorber is Tein Super Street, even it is at the highest point, my bumper still very low....3'' gap from ground to bumper....

Was at Blitz Garage, Sunway to do the adjustment since N1 is full....the mech told Aron that he could custom another track to make it higher. Without doing any adjustment, Aron and me went back to Subang.

Aron visit Mech Chin and ask about it, Mech Chin understand and he can do it too, because his workshop is nearer to my home, so Aron let him custom.

While Aron checking info about adjustable suspension, Aron received text message from Dylan, asking that if Aron interested in adjustable becoz 1 of his friend have it. After some discussion, Aron taking the adjustable suspension. Collecting on Sunday afternoon.

Item collected around 5pm. Dylan have to collect the item from his friend at Sungai Besi, very big thank to him for collecting the item and inspect the item.

Will install on Tuesday. +.+

Went to friend's house at BU this morning, teach him some 3D work, I was parked in front of his house. Without blocking anybody.

After 1 hr, the neighbor in front of his house is coming out, driving an Estima, it come nearer and nearer...no....no~..no~~~ !!!

Going from Bukit Jelutong to Subang direction, there is a car tailgate me and Aron tot its Waja. So he dont give a damn. We both stop at traffic light. Its a civic....Aron noticed that it got 5 lug, check the body out....fuuhhhh......

its a white Civic Coupe. Unknown engine. Unknown tranny. Yellow number plate.

The traffic light turns green. He floor pedal, of coz Aron chase it! VTEC roaring behind him.

All the way to 120km/h, Aron feel that i got potential to potong him, maybe he didnt push to limit, due to the road condition.....its an uneven road, without lamp post, and some sand on the road....

After a while, he turn on signal going to petrol station, then Aron potong him and go away.

ps: Potong = cut. Also mean Overtake in Malaysia language. =X

After class, Joshua send Aron to Sunway. On the way, damn jam...wonder what happened....
When Aron arrived, I'm inside the room for spraying...

After that, Joshua left. While waiting, Aron went to the foodcourt in front of the spray shop to have lunch, and he bought a magazine to kill time. Joshua called and he says that the traffic jam is cause by an accident which is a Harrier totaled.

3:30pm, I came out from the shop d, enjoying the sun shine. Still have some touch up to be done on me, so Aron went to Sunway UC, sit at the foyer and look around =X

After polished and washed, I'm done at 5pm. And we go home together.....

While at home, Aron knew that the Meguiar car care event for tomorrow is canceled......

Steam fish for lunch

There is a steam fish restaurant around KD which been on newspaper / tv show quite a number of time, so Aron and his mom went to try it out.

Size of the fish is M size XD, I think 1 person can finish 1....its fresh and spicy, also it will open up ur appetite. huhuuu...

Aron thinks that the taste of fish is not what he expect, but its worth to try. =X

Touch up the Fiber

Went back to Sunway for the fiber touch up because the Spray worker says that the fiber do not have a good finish on the air vent area, after spray, it will crack if the bumper shake a bit.....here we are....

looks a bit nicer after the touch up....心理作用?

Went to spray shop near the fiber shop, have a short discussion about the price of spraying.
Most probably will start the painting work on Monday......
